“I grew up in Byron Bay and got my first taste of working life in my parents’ small business. From a young age, I was always interested in finance and business. I even used to ask for a copy of the Australian Financial Review as a kid!
That curiosity turned into a career path during a university work placement, where I shadowed a financial planner for two weeks. I knew right then that financial advice was the profession I wanted to pursue. After completing my degree, I’ve also completed my Professional Year – a structured, supervised training program that supports my transition into a qualified financial planner.
Right now, I’m learning everything I can from the team and gaining hands-on experience in real client scenarios; what excites me most is helping clients achieve their goals. For me, great advice begins with understanding what really matters to each person. When those goals become reality, that’s how I know we’ve done our job well.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and our animals. Weekends are often spent with our beautiful horse or sitting by the fire roasting marshmallows – simple things that bring a lot of joy.”
