“I grew up on the Gold Coast and started my working life scooping ice cream at Baskin Robbins. These days, my role is a bit less sticky, as I work in the Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) team here at Your Future Strategy, handling administration and assisting with some of the accounting work behind the scenes.
My interest in accounting was inspired by my dad, who is an accountant himself. I’ve always enjoyed working with numbers, so following a similar path just made sense. Now I’m studying a Bachelor of Business with majors in Accounting and Financial Planning to build on that foundation.
What I enjoy most is helping clients roll over into their new SMSFs, so they can start investing in assets like property and shares. It’s rewarding to play a part in helping them take control of their super and build towards their financial goals.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me on the basketball court, watching the NBA, or playing video games; anything competitive or strategic always gets my attention.”
